Brain Damage
Here I go again
Down the rabbit hole
A second time
Brain damage seems
To come in any
Flavor you can find
Searching for the elusive
Fairy-tale kind of life
But only to wake up
And dream this dream
Another night
You grin the Cheshire Cat grin
But your words
Wage war
Won't you tell me
Where the rabbit is?
The one I'm searching for
I don't want to play
this game but
that's been said before
I won't conform
just to fit through
the tiny door
I know there's more than
one path through this maze
I could just take a risk:
Proceed to disengage
Why do you paint
The roses red?
"Live and let live"
that's what the hatter said
I'm still reaching
For the surface
Or just that golden key
I know there's a way
To grasp it
Without the "eat me"
And now here I go again
Down the rabbit hole
For the last time
Brain damage seems
To come in any
Flavor you can find
Searching for just
A Happily-Ever-After
Kind of life
Until you just
stop waking up
or someone turns
on the light
