When We Become Equal
Can you see the wind in my face?
Can you hear my silent calls?
Can you feel my invisible arms wrap around you?
This is a nightmare.
I call for you, and you just keep on ignoring me.
I reach for you, and you just walk away.
Quietly I watch over you...
Watching you fall tears me apart.
Knowing that as soon as your behind closed doors,
You try and try.
And soon enough...
Death will make us equal.
