Your heavy breathing
The flutter of your eyelashes
How calming they can be
As I stroke your cheek
And you nestle further into the nook of my arm
While you are to greet sleep
Your hair is a tussled mess
That sticks out in every direction
The grogginess in your voice
While you whisper
Undefinable words
Watching you dream
And resting in tranquility
Is the most beautiful thing
I will ever see
