Sound
Sound
Silence is not silent; but simply what we never hear. Though it’s there, you must be very still to let it fill your ear.
Just close your eyes, and listen to the heartbeat of the night. Be sure you’re careful; the sounds you hear could chase away the light.
What is real and what is make-believe begins to slip away; you might begin to find yourself being lead astray.
Be wary of the sounds you hear when you are all alone; don’t forget to listen to each and every subtle tone.
But take heart, my friend, for nightmares are not always as they seem. With a bit of luck, your ears can be the keys to pleasant dreams.
