Too Late
My heart you see
Doesn’t heal fast
It's made of tiny little pieces
All of which are made of glass
Each one carefully glued on
To stick together just for a while
Until all the pieces are gone
Then I have to go around and glue
All those little pieces
That I put together just for you
So please treat me right
Don't turn your back on me
I don't want to get into a fight
And have me no longer matter
Because if we do it will be both of our fault
That my heart was the one to shatter
