I can tell by the leaves
A girl stands alone
With nothing left remaining
Her heart turns cold
Everyone gets ready for winter
She puts on a warm jacket
And does what she was told
She’ll never know if it was right
And no ones there to help
She still stands there alone
And watches a cool day turn into a freezing night
Walking right along
Feet shuffling behind
She stares into space
Thinking was she wrong?
Her mind completely changed
Just like the season
Her old comforts were gone
And far from this they ranged
