a mistake worthwhile
a skeptic mind,
a broken heart,
an outline, a skeleton,
under surveillance...this was where it would all start...
as hours passed by,
and days went on,
she saw her shadow,
leading her on...
something that followed her in the glorious days...
trying to catch up with her in various ways...
the same shadow, that was a part,
was now responsible,
for the skeptic mind
and the broken heart...
was life always fair..she never knew
were dreams and faith
a part of the Que
of things we always wanted
of things we never had
of things she wished were corrected
so things would never be bad...
she felt bombarded
with opinions
from every corner
of what was right..and what was wrong..
"it was an innocent mistake,"
she wished they would believe,
they took her by her hair,
and left her to grieve..
a loss so severe,
a voice unheard...
a cry so loud...
someone lost in a crowd..
she looked for her angel
who would take her through
and every time she thought the search was done with
she found disguise
as everyone witnessed
the soul's sad demise...
as she tried to paint her life canvas
depicting love with her art
she found in her
a skeptic mind, a broken heart..
under surveillance..this was where it had marked its start.
this realisation struck her,
like nothing before
as she noted her transition
from loquacious to demure...
from believer to deceiver...
deceiver not to others,
but to herself..
her own hope her own faith..
every inch of herself..
"it was an innocent mistake,"
she wished they would believe,
but they had taken her by her hair,
and left her to grieve..
and was that not a mistake
was that not a shame
she saw her shadow
fearing the coming light
that indicated the dawn
that would zero it down to where it belonged..
a follower of her, a mere pawn.
she picked herself up,
she never looked back..
in retrospect,
a skeptic mind,
a broken heart,
an outline, a skeleton,
under surveillance...this was where it would all start..
a start so beautiful
a start so pure
a start so refreshing
a start that would allure....
all in all,
it was a mistake worthwhile..
