We've counted the votes, and Barack's the man,

He was right all along when he said "yes we can"

Now he will be President Barack,

His victory is already solid as rock,

4 years ago, who would expect,

that this time we'd get a better president-elect,

because last time, I had to frown

last time, I felt so let down,

My faith in democracy began to fade

I was so angry because Bush stayed,

and I was feeling really down then,

but this election started me up again,

Well, tough for McCain, he got bruised,

it's too bad for him, but somebody had to lose,

McCain conceded,I respect, with grace,
and so Obama won the race,
