Your Words
Your words- they hurt
belittling, insulting,
making me feel
incompetent
and then they get louder.
Your words are
yelled to make me
feel worse
as if I can't do anything
Your words
always point out
my flaws, my weaknesses,
always pointing out the
bad and never the
good. Never
complementing my
successes.
Your words- they're loud,
ringing in my ears
as you continure to
name off everything
I've done wrong.
Your words cause me to
shiver and cause the
tears to flow but
in the end I eventually
get over it because
Your words- they're you;
you always yell
and confess your
anger but I'm used to it
because it's your feelings,
it's your words,
it's you.
