I Thought
I thought I knew everything,
I thought I knew you.
I always thought I’d never love.
I always thought someone like you didn’t exist.
I never thought your words weren’t true,
I never thought you’d deceive me,
I am lost and confused with no reason to live,
I am lost and confused with nothing more to lose.
I am a rebel that refuses your neglect,
I am a rebel that does not know regret.
I stop to wonder of me and you,
I stop to breath but can’t when I see you.
I don’t know if I hate you or love you,
I don’t know what life would be like If I wasn’t hurt by you.
I thought I knew everything,
I thought my dreams of us would become true.
Still I thought that somehow there could be,
A Me and You.
