When I was young
I remember,
Holding you.
You were warm and
I pray this moment never end.
I cared for you dearly
And I was your girl.
It was pure love,
Nothing wrong,
Nothing complex.
And I wanted your hold forever.
What I wouldn't do now,
For another minute,
Another real sight.
I would give anything,
To have kept you with me.
I want you with me,
Now more than ever.
