The right hand—Hatred
The other—Love
Foster them both
But keep them separate
Hatred is the simplest
Focusing painful memories
Feeling it grow
Forever blazing in hand
Love—the most difficult
Recollecting all benevolence
Slowly it builds
Lightly warming the left
Let them both journey
Up the arms
Take much caution
Let them not meet
Hatred—difficult to contain
Surging almost sadistically
Constricting the right
Rushing toward its destination
Love—the timorous one
Quietly rises up
Past the wrist
Flowing up the left
As the two rest
Interchange the two
To opposite destinations
Stabilize them both perfectly
Hatred hears the order
Quickly flows over
Consuming timid Love
Damning it to oblivion
