Shallow Tree
Here I lie, a shallow tree.
Alone in the world being cold as the ice,
Hanging down from my branches.
Drip. Drop. The water droplets
my tears of rain.
All I have is the wind
Whoo...Sh... It is my friend,
But it goes by with a spin
to say - good bye.
I watch the trees, I watch a family
For I wish to be comfort,
To be protected under the leaves when thunder strikes.
Their angel wings would give me courage.
One dream, a fantasy I believe
To stand tall and proud,
Until I reach the clouds
And give my branches a shake
To tell them these tears are not fake
So, I would be the one to stand out to guard the young ones from harms way.
