Blue as summer skies
They’ve seen all my faces
They know all my lies
Soft purple patterns
With worn all seeing souls
Their canvas has no tatters
Their knowledge has no holes

My companions when I’m walking
They still haven’t seen it all
They’ve strut the local streets
Seen priceless works of art
They know my favorite beats
Seen the contents of my heart
With me all the time
They’ve come to know me well
They helped me write this rhyme
So our story, I do tell
