Disappearing into the Darkness of the City
The town was taken by ghettos
Wheels were turning
Someone shouted "Rat!"
A boy was running
Up and down the street
He was no weakling he has
the strength of a bull,
The street lamps were dull.
What was he running from?
He hasn't been seen around
Here
His eyes burst like a
Balloon
They were full of mud and blood
The doctors said
it can't be helped
The city slept in his
pain
He shouted and
disappeared
into the night.
