Can you ever learn
To let go?
I’m not a baby anymore.
You’ve been there and done that.
You see crimes, violence, guns, and drugs everywhere.
Now you feel confused
I’ll show you that I’m smarter
than most people out there.
I’m ready to take on the world.
I’m an adult now.
Can’t you see that?
You never gave up on me,
Showing support in everything I did.
I won’t disappoint you.
I promise.
So now it’s time
To let go…
