The Pain I Have
I see the pain,
right there in your eyes.
It hurts me to know,
that I caused it.
I try to say sorry for wronging you, then we argue.
I wish the fighting would end.
It makes me hurt more.
It’s not only you,
other people upset me worse.
I don’t fit in, I never could make friends,
but when I try, they all leave, old and new ones.
just like you did.
It doesn’t help that I can’t let go.
I am like the wind,
heard, just never listened too.
I’m nothing, invisible, to you, to my friends, and to my family.
