Life Without Light
In darkness you look for the tiniest sliver of light.
In darkness your eyes become numb to the black.
In darkness sound magnifies.
In darkness life is gone.
In darkness you can leave behind your worries.
In darkness you find an escape from the cares of life.
In darkness nothing is known.
In darkness light is nothing.
In light you look for the tiniest sliver if darkness.
In light your eyes become numb to the yellow.
In light sound is drowned.
In light life is returned.
In light all worries are revealed in living color to the world.
In light there is no hope of escape from the cares of life.
In light everything is known.
In light darkness is everything.

To write this poem I locked myself in my closet for a good half an hour. i sat in the darkness and carefully thought through all of my senses.
