Find Our way Back
It was a dark and frigid night
The raindrops came down heavy
It hit my face harder than your words to my heart during our fight.
You turned your back before you were able see me cry
I never wanted to see you again
Yet years later I stand with the feeling of a lacking good bye.
I grow old all alone wondering why I still haven't taken your picture down
I tell myself I do not care where you have gone
But behind that girls smile does not appear to be a frown.
I always wanted to know if your heart ever still felt for me
I regret our fight and I want you to return
But I didn't expect you to show up on one knee.
We don`t need to be together every day in order to know that we love each other.
Our hearts are connected and they will always find away back to one another.
