Plastic Smile
December 31, 2008
I smile on the outside to hide the pain I feel inside.
A tortured soul inside of me
hidden where no one else can see.
Its scratches and screams to be released
and yet my smile has never ceased.
The sorrow that I wont admit.
The suffering I can't permit.
There's nothing left for me to do
I bet you'd even smile too.
This hurt will last for quite awhile,
trapped behind my plastic smile.
