With a Broken Heart

your eyes, your laugh, the way you look at me
makes me feel like I'm at the beginning again.
Everytime I look at you,
my heart is pounding just for you
and that will never change,
it will never fade away.
Because I'm always holding on tight,
never letting you go with all my might.
You're the one who makes me smile
and you're the one who gets me shattered.
you're the one who can make this all worth while,
and you're the one who can make this all disappear.
My heart is in your hands,
your tears are on my sleeve.
I am finally worth the man that you deserve,
for I will never leave you with a broken heart.

wow, I don't really read a lot of poetry but this poem is actually pretty good. Most sappy love poems that I read all have the same snetences but this one feels different, its feels honest.

You know when i first read it i thought a girl wrote it...but for you as a guy to write it i thought it had so much meaning and feeling. I t was amazing.

I love it. The rhyme scheme is original not something I see a lot in poetry! I think it really expresses your feelings and emotions on which it's based... I Hope!
