Dull Pain
For how long
I wonder I can run from this pain
The Dull Pain
I try and try
But it tends to come back again
Months
Months have passed
Since you were gone
And since no day has passed
That I haven’t felt sad or forlorn
Why O tell me
why after so many days
I still think about you
No matter how hard I try to forget
You come back out of the blue
Why not
Why not can I forget
The love we had T
he times we shared
Telling about things happy and bad
Gone
I wonder where the happiness has gone
And taken with it the lively side of me
The quiet times we had
When everything was just you and me
Love
It is love that I have always felt for you
Your touch as soothing as it can be
Your words as sweet as honey
And that smile which made me forget all my worries
The Dull Pain
I endure without a complain, without a frown
As I wait
I wait for you in this Strange Little Town…
