Click, clack, click, clack,
Says the leadless pencil.

Tick, tock, tick, tock,
Sings the clock.

Drip, drop, drip, drop,
Falls the ink on the page.

Bang, knock, bang, knock,
Screams the door.

Ding, dong, ding, dong,
Hums the bell.

Hum, purr, hum, purr,
Vibrates the fridge.

Cheep, chirp, cheep, chirp,
Croons the bird.

Rock, jazz, rock, jazz,
Changes the station.

Rattle, jangle, rattle, jangle,
Bounces the nothingness in my brain.

Empty, blank, empty, blank,
Mocks the white page.

Fail, zero, fail, zero,
Proclaims the teacher.

Writer’s block, excuses, writer’s block, excuses,
Says I.

“Click, clack, click, clack,
The leadless pencil said.

Tick, tock, tick, tock,
The clock sang.

Drip, drop, drip, drop.
The ink fell on the page.

Bang, knock, bang, knock,
The door screamed.

Ding, dong, ding, dong,
The bell hummed.

Hum, purr, hum, purr.
The fridge vibrated.

Cheep, chirp, cheep, chirp,
The bird crooned.

Rock, jazz, rock, jazz.
The station changed.”

Ring, buzz, ring, buzz,
The bell rings.

Gaping, out of time, gaping, out of time,
Am I.

Empty, blank, empty, blank,
The red comments proclaim.

Fail, zero, fail, zero,
Mocks the ugly grade.

Rattle, jangle, rattle, jangle,
Bounces the new poetic inspiration in my brain.

Wow! I really like how you used onomatopoeia in this piece. It really captures my attention. I liked this one a lot. I think it's my favorite. Great job!
