there is no half-singing in the shower. you're either a rock star or an opera diva.

a dancing figurine
so beautifully sad
in its stillness
only coming to life
at the will of a hand
and in the eyes
of a little girl
spinning along
to the music
until it stops
sadly, forcefully
once again
into stillness

I just want everyone who reads this poem to think of the one thing they love doing most of all, and what started it. For me, it was dancing, and that started with a music box.

Why must the bounds of love and hate continually be so muddled?

I like how you used personification in this one. Very good and descriptively explained. It's also really cool how you incorporated the music box into such a great poem because you loved to dance and it gives it more emotion. :] good job.
