The Mountain Cries
October 23, 2015
The Mountain looks beyond the horizon line,
Looking for world peace or a sign,
Looking for everyone to be kind.
And until that happens he cries the waterfall,
Sliding down its mountain walls,
Down to the lake where it falls.
So now he wishes for world peace,
But that wish is starting to cease,
Because it’s not in the north, west, south, or east.
