LIKE TICKING CLOCKWORK
While waiting for a moment one is trapped in a barrier of time, refusing access into the next instant. The moment you wish to pass lingers until patience exhausts and the mind is troubled by timeless thought. The clocks steady ticking makes all other words sound like an endless droan. The clock mocks you as if to say, 'I am not willing to surrender into the next moment so easily...' Fix your eyes on the teacher and abandon all hope of deliverance into new times. Now, the class doesn't seem so tedious, the clock's heartbeat drowns out by words of knowledge. RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING (the obnoxious school bell). Once again the clock mocks me, for while in the moment I once desired, I long for the moment that just passed.
