Racing to the Bus MAG
We were racing to the bus
trying to figure out who could run faster
while we were full of laughter.
Then as we started getting older,
we started running to the ending
of an early chapter
full of rage and regret
and as I stand here now,
I see an empty silhouette
because I feel like I could’ve stopped him
before he did what he did.
But we were just kids,
trying to fit in.
