February 15, 2009
A starcase to heaven,
bright-fire,
instant death,
searing
across
stormy skies.
Trees
turned to ash;
telling a
white-hot
death-story.
Branching
across clouds, with
leaves
like points of flame.
Crackling,
a flash, and
a rumble,
the laughter of
thunderstorms
as they dance
with
lightning.
