Valentines Clock
Couples holding each other tight
Roses everywhere the eye can see
All of it is a waste of time
Of course no one asks me
To go to the dance
Not that I care
I would have just said no
Besides I have nothing to wear
They can make goo-goo eyes
And exchange poems and sweets
They can do whatever they want
It doesn't matter to me
Red heart, yeah right, black
Is the color of her soul
If you weren't so hormone driven
Her beauty may not have taken its toll
On you, you're another victim of her
Devilish charms and good looks
So spend your day in cupid's hands
If you must, you must, but remember
As soon as the clock strikes twelve
Valentines is over, and you'll see the pretender.
