Eleanor Roosevelt
in these times of trouble our nation despairs
the fear of the people hangs in the air
But there is one woman
who stands strong
and tells us that we can hold on
She speaks to the nation
Her words are our motivation
Bringing hope
When there was
no way to cope
Outspoken and deeds so respectively dealt
We love our Mrs. Roosevelt

I wrote this piece for class, and really enjoyed it, I never do poetry, so this is a first for me.
