Memoirs Of a Daddy's Little Girl
She cries as she thinks,
Daddy's little girl,
The man she once cared about the most,
The memories now seem like a ghost,
All the hurtful things that were said,
Took the toll, a good relationship is dead,
She says she doesn't miss him,
She says she doesn't care,
But deep inside, below the hate,
The love is still there,
Each new day she puts on a pretend smile,
And wonders if she can go another mile,
Maybe one day,
And just not in her dreams,
Thinking of the family life she once had
Maybe one day, just one day, she will be glad
