How far will they go?
To live longer
To look beautiful
Who would know?
They try each and every day
Putting on a face
Fitting in with the crowd
Their minds have slipped way
They try so hard to be someone new
To be skinny enough
To be pretty enough
It’s okay to just be you
Look beyond the clothes you wear
The appearance
The makeup
And the way they do their hair
In the end, it means nothing at all
Those who look good
Put damage on their souls
Just be you, stand up tall
