You can tell
I am under pressure
nervous, impatient
you can tell by the way
my foot tap tap taps
and the way that I
excessively click
click click...
listen to the excessive
clicking of my mechanical
pencil
notice how I then
push the lead back
just to repeat the process
over again....
excessively
how I bite my lip
and what's left of my nails
chipping polish off
just to taste acidic flavors of
"devil's hot red" or
"bubbly pink"
my disordered actions
make you wonder what I'm thinking
how I scribble on paper
meaningless lines
and constantly watch
the clock tick the time
I am under pressure,
nervous, impatient
You can tell from
every little thing I do.
I am a teenager.
