Another Special Day
The first face that I see every day
Perpetually smiling
And big open arms
Caring for all my needs
Running me here and there
Just to do what I love
All the endless laughs we share in those car rides
As if we’re best friends
Sharing all our secrets
There for all the drama
That is a teenage girl’s life
Ears always open
Always knowing the right thing to say every time
Someone always to fall on
Able to find a way to brighten my day
Putting a grin on my face
Turning the day around
So when she’s the last face I see at night,
Another day made special
