Fireplace
Oranges and yellows dance
Upon the logs of pine,
Cinders ignite in the flames
Rich colors align.
Cuddled up and toasty
In your arms, never lonely,
Oh, what a pair we are!
Why would I ever want to travel far?
Because when I’m with you,
I never feel blue.
Your face glows in the amber light
Being with you there is no plight,
I feel the warmth from you and the fire
I have to say, you truly inspire.
