Colors (A blackout poem)
In the dark, we see nothing.
We call this black.
No color is completely pure.
The color fades with intensity.
Many colors are possible,
yet many are scarce.
We distinguish light from dark,
and determine colors true.
Red orange yellow,
green blue indigo,
and don't forget violet.
All seven colors,
the brightness remains the same.
