Not Going To Let Him Win.
She’s lying there all alone.
Dreaming of letting go.
She’s so confused
But no-one knows
Just how close she is
To letting go.
She’s so upset
She feels so low
She’s constantly thinking
About letting go.
She’s been through so much
She’s faked a smile
And no-one knew
That all the while
She felt so low
That she wanted to let go.
She thinks about how he tore
Her family apart.
She thinks about how he broke
Her heart.
She thinks about how she ended
Up without a dad.
And to her surprise that makes
Her glad.
She gets up and she smiles
And she thinks about him;
And how she’s not going to
Let him win.
