Another year passes,
With you not here.
Another day goes by,
wishing you were near.
Today's the day we remember your name,
and never look back, thinking,’ shame'.
But, instead, happiness, hope, joy, even sorrow,
and for some even still tomorrow.
But, as we look to the future,
we know this will happen again.
We'll remember always,
the day you were born and after then.

If anyone is wondering about the Dates-the title- its, my brother's and my birthday. His is the 26th, mine is the 27th, hope that clears it up. I also hope you all like my poem.
