Through the Cold

They stay together through the cold,
They always act big and bold
Two worlds divided by money,
They would laugh and fight and then it wasn't funny
Got in trouble and ran away,
To the abandoned church they would stay
The embers glowing oh so bright,
Everyone got such a fright
Now that he lay in the bed,
Sunken face and lousy head
They have to stay together through the cold,
And throughout all this, they have to stay gold
