Senior Year
The time is here
The graduating class of 2018
I don’t want it to end
The best year of my life
Passing with straight A’s
Making new friends
I have a free period
Can’t wait for all the senior activities
Ready to apply to colleges
Prom is around the corner
Then it’s graduation
Finally the time is here
I worked so hard for this
The new chapter in our life is here
Senior Year
What a relief
The graduating class of 2018
I just want it to be done
The worst year of my life
Struggling to maintain my grades
Losing friends
I sit through six classes
Not looking forward to senior activities
I don’t know what I want to do with my life
Don’t care for Prom
Then it’s graduation
I can finally leave
I did all this for a piece of paper
The new chapter in our life is here

I wrote this 2 Voice Poem with my friend Angie Luevano for our Creative Writing class. The poem shows the two different feelings seniors can have about their senior year and all the thing that come with it.
