A thin white layer covers the ground,
The world is silent all around.

The trees look ever so bare,
How crisp is the surrounding air.

Animal footprints mark their path,
While snow clings to the lattice lath.

Oh what a sight,
The world is covered in white.

Kids are laughing while they play,
Some are sledding with their sleigh.

The wind blows and bites your nose,
It chills the air as well as your toes.

Hot chocolate is what you should get,
When you come in soaking wet.

Oh what a sight,
The world is dressed in white.

Each flake is unique and cold,
More beautiful and special than gold.

All around the world is white,
It is the most magical sight.
