I am a Guitar
The strings are played upon to make a sound,
expressed through emotion,
it’s a way to speak when no one is there to listen,
a guitar always listens.
When the emotion is sad or is happy,
a song can be played to express both,
when the emotion is hard to understand,
the guitar always tries to understand.
When the player no longer wants to play,
the guitar will sit and wait,
it will wait for a day,
when it will be played again.
