Two Bare Feet
Every Sunday, clothes consume the laundry room floor. Whites. Brights. Lights. Darks. 1,000 pairs of socks—losing them, a recurring theme. I search the perimeter of the house. Where could they have gone? No answer. The socks home is not my feet. And every Sunday, more socks are vanished to the laundry room.
