A Frigid and Unwilling Tumble
Above him lay the clouds of gray
and behind a host of pointed steel
to his right and left he was barred a breath
by the heights he felt so real
He stood upon a thin wooden board
dwarfed by the pirate ship
beneath him swept the cold dark tide
into which he was destined to flip
This situation was new to him
he'd never encountered one as such before
although he lived a life of shady behavior
this end he did abhor
He had slept for God and now God slept for him
yet he still watched the sky and wondered why
why he appeared so abandoned hear
why he had to die
He was one fated to die for
from his brutish captain he did steal
in a world of murder and disrespect
for such a thin pain he would soon feel
And so he gazed into the black abyss
with his feral fearful orb
with morbid amaze upon his face
the reality he did absorb
On such a day he'd find his way
out from this shattered world
he did not know his destination
except into the depths so swirled
So with a pirate chide inside his ear
and a vision in his eye
and a sword point in his back
into the dark depths he did dive.
