Through My Window
Through my window
I see fields of green
And kids playing
I wonder what they dream
Through my window
I see skies of blue
And puffy white clouds
They look like you
Through my window
I see crystal clear
Waters filled with fish
I wonder what they fear
Through my window
I write down what I see
And how I feel
About being free
Through my window
I see you smile
And I run to you
And we talk for awhile
Through my window
I see the heavens above
And the world
That I love
Through my window
I see the rain
And somehow it
Heals my pain
Through my window
There’s a flower growing
And the wind
Is gently blowing
Through my window
We both can see
The moon and stars
And that’s the way I want it to be
(Just you and me)
