Misunderstood
Put yourself in my shoes,
All Im asking is for you to pick up these clues,
Deep down inside I know the truth of the matter,
Its just my fear Im asking you to try and shatter,
Im not asking for you to tell me everything is fine,
I just need you to help me believe tomorrow can be mine,
Times like these I feel lost and scared,
After Ive done something which Ive never dared,
I know there is a lesson in this,
Which will one day help me find bliss,
Though what I seek so desperately now,
Is your help though I dont know how,
Maybe I just need you to say,
"You messed up but I'll make it okay"
All I really need is to lean on you,
Although I hate to admit it but its true.
