Never
Who are you being,
in this moment I ask?
Can you contain your heart in a flask?
Or is your soul a grand canyon?
Filled to the top
with secrets and memories
so large you might pop?
Are you beautiful?
Deadly?
Are your eyes bright with smiles?
Are you such in a rush?
Would you stay for awhile?
Do you love?
Do you hate?
Do you follow your fate?
Or do you take hold
And be careful to mold?
When I see you someday,
I’ll have answers galore
to questions and hopes and visions and more
And in hopes that you’ll see me
Don’t be too surprised
When you find such my person behind changing eyes.
