Lost~
With moon shining bright,
I stare up at the sky.
Confused, befuddled, and wondering why.
Why I can’t do it,
though there’s nothing to fear.
Only my heart jumping, with you so near.
With the slightest touch,
my heart begins racing.
My face grows warm and my mind starts spacing.
Such a simple task,
and yet I hesitate,
thinking you may not be ready; to wait.
Internal struggles
prevent me from acting,
though when you’re not here, it’s love songs I sing.
Just having left you,
I already feel lost,
hoping these poems get my point across.
On my roof I sit,
staring up at the sky.
Confused, befuddled, and wondering why.
