Dead or alive
Am I dead or am I alive?
I don’t know and it’s no surprise.
Death brings peace life brings pain.
The void before and after is something in between.
I feel nothing but I think I should,
I should be screaming in pain but instead I am just standing.
Standing in the middle of this un-earthly void,
feeling nothing not even the rain.
The rain is pouring down, down on me.
But I hear, see, and feel nothing and this is how it has to be.
Because in this void nothing exists.
No hope and no pain so it’s all amiss
