Forever Beautiful

A Beauty marked by faults,
but still her glory shines.
From dirt to child,
to the image we see now.
Her Beauty last forever,
yet hides from the Minnesota snow.
Each time the sun hits,
her smile opens wide.
Although she is surrounded,
by weeds on every side.
Soon the snow will fall,
and again she will hide.
But the sun will shine again,
and open up her smile.
So I'll sit among the trees,
and admire for awhile
